Jakob Gattinger

Jakob Gattinger is a Senior Associate with Alvarez & Marsal, a leading restructuring, turnaround and management consulting firm. He specializes in serving the aerospace, defense, aviation, and space sectors. His areas of concentration are supply chain & operations performance improvement as well as operations due diligence and the planning and execution of complex M&A integration activities. His thought leadership around the health of the defense industrial base has recently been featured in Private Equity International's PE Hub publication. 

Jakob joined A&M after spending 5 years with RTX, formerly Raytheon Technologies, where he most recently held a role in strategic sourcing with scope across all 3 RTX segments - Pratt & Whitney, Collins Aerospace, and Raytheon - focused on a $7 billion portfolio of machining, castings, forgings and raw materials. He began his career in operations with Collins Aerospace. 

Jakob holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, and has served on a number of non-profit boards, including UBC's Board of Governors.


Alex Krutz

Alex Krutz is the Managing Director of Patriot Industrial Partners an Aerospace and Defense advisory firm that elevates business performance by focusing on manufacturing strategy, supply chain optimization and business transformation.  He has been a consultant for Boeing, Tier 1’s and Tier 2’s on operational turnarounds and for private equity portfolio companies on value creation planning and execution.  Prior to Patriot Industrial Partners, Alex held leadership roles at Pratt & Whitney, GKN Aerospace, and sub-tier aerospace & defense businesses in the areas of general management, operations, supply chain and program management. His experience spans across aerostructures, engines, large complex composite and metallic assemblies and components.


Glenn McDonald
Principal

Glenn McDonald is a Principal at AeroDynamic Advisory, a specialty consulting firm focused on the global aerospace and aviation industries. He has ten years of full-time consulting experience, working first at AeroStrategy, then at ICF International.

During his time in consulting, Glenn has supported and managed many different projects, covering corporate strategy development and execution, acquisition search and transaction support, market analysis, cost and performance benchmarking, economic development, and regulatory analysis and development. His primary focus has been in aerospace manufacturing and Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO)

Previously, Glenn was a Manager at ICF International after joining as an Associate in 2012. He graduated from the University of Michigan with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering. Glenn has previously held internship positions at Gulfstream Aerospace developing fly-by-wire flight controls for the G500/G600 program, GE Aviation performing aero-mechanics design on the CFM LEAP, Passport, and GE9X aircraft engines, and at Rockwell Collins working on military avionics. He also worked on product development and marketing for ShadePlex, an early-stage venture developing solar products.


Craig Musson

Craig Musson is an accomplished aerospace executive with a diverse background in Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. He has over 40 years of industry experience and a deep understanding of gas turbine engine design, development, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Craig is the President of WECAN2 LLC, an Aerospace Consulting firm founded after retiring from RTX/Pratt & Whitney, where he was last responsible for leading, establishing, & executing P&W’s sourcing strategy. Valued for his problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge, he made significant contributions to Operations and Supply Chain, in the areas of make/buy strategies, continuous improvement and value engineering to generate cost reductions, and the creation of multiple supply chain management tools.

Prior to his Operations experience, he built a strong foundation in product development, materials engineering, structures and mechanical test, working with materials ranging from organic, metal and ceramic matrix composites, to titanium, and nickel-based superalloys.

Vivek founded FactoryTwin after 25 years in the industry with a mission to simplify factories and unlock productivity. FactoryTwin is a factory analytics software platform which has been deployed with remarkable results, and with a very intuitive interface that end users love. Data diagnostics and cleansing are included in the platform. FactoryTwin is helping manufacturers gain vast efficiencies exploiting the data their factories already have in multiple online and offline formats using predictive and prescriptive analytics. The platform won both Phase 1 and 2 of the prestigious National Science Foundation award for Small Business Innovative Research.

Vivek enjoys helping aerospace manufacturers achieve step improvements in key business metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, profitability, cash flow). 

Previously, Vivek held a variety of roles such as Chief Engineer, Plant Manager, Supply Chain Director, and GM at Pratt & Whitney; Vice President & Practice Leader at ICF Aviation; President & CEO at Mooney International.

He holds a PhD in Applied Math from the University of Cambridge (UK).
